Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
